His Majesty King Abdullah II returned home on Saturday following his participation in the meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos. His Majesty's participation in the Forum offered a good opportunity to the private sector in Jordan to use the forum as a platform to show its achievement and presents its plans and suggestions for joint ventures with major international companies in areas such as tourism, aviation, information technology, health care and pharmaceuticals, vehicle spare parts.

His Majesty King Abdullah II on Friday met with American Vice President Deck Cheney who is participating in WEF in Davos. Discussions focused on the current situations in Iraq and Palestine , in addition to bilateral relations , where His Majesty expressed appreciation on the American role in helping Jordan improve its economic situations and going on in comprehensive development.

His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday arrived to Switzerland for participation in the 34th meeting of world economic forum (WEF) in Davos. His Majesty is keen, for the fourth time since assumption of his constitutional powers, to participate in this forum as it affords a proper place for the Jordanian private sector to meet with world's senior economic leaders and to work out partnerships and investment useful for both sides.

His Majesty King Abdullah II left Amman on Tuesday heading for Egypt on a one- day visit for talks with Egyptian President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and the future of the Iraqi situation. Talks will also cover ways of coordinating Arab efforts and stands before the coming Arab Summit, scheduled to be held in Tunisia next March.
