King Abdullah and President Mubarak hold Talks

His Majesty King Abdullah II and President
Husni Mubarak held on Tuesday talks that focused on finding a mechanism
for unifying Arab attitudes and supporting the joint Arab action as
well as discussing the latest developments in the Palestinian territories
and the situation in Iraq.


The King and the President affirmed the importance of coordinating
attitudes and unifying Arab efforts prior to holding the Arab Summit
scheduled in Tunisia in next March.



They also affirmed the importance of crystallizing an Arab
and international position that supports the efforts aiming at removing
the obstacles of Peace process and putting it into the right track.



Regarding the Iraqi issue, the King and Mubarak affirmed the
two countries' support for the rights of Iraqi people to build an
independent and unified Iraq and to choose a national government that
represents all spectra of Iraqi people.



The talks also touched on remedying the Arab League through
the proposals put forward by Secretary General of the Arab League
to Arab countries.



The King and President Mubarak affirmed the importance of
proceeding with these proposals to be discussed in the next Arab Summit
with a view to improve the performance quality of the joint Arab action.
