His Majesty King Abdullah II left Amman on Tuesday heading for Egypt on a one- day visit for talks with Egyptian President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and the future of the Iraqi situation. Talks will also cover ways of coordinating Arab efforts and stands before the coming Arab Summit, scheduled to be held in Tunisia next March.

The King is accompanies by Prime Minister Faisal Fayez, Minister of the Royal Court Samir Rifa'i and Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher.

On the other hand, His Majesty will pay a visit to the Kingdom of Morocco before heading for Switzerland next Thursday to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.

His Majesty will deliver a keynote address in the Forum, in which more than 2000 economic, media, political and academic figures will take part.

His Majesty's participation will shed light on Jordan's developmental projects, the visit will also give the way to the Jordanian private sector to meet with economic and industrial leaders in the field of information technology, tourism and travel, aviation and other industries.

His Royal Highness Prince Ali Bin Nayef was sworn in as regent during His Majesty's absence abroad.
