His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received Commander of the US Central Command Gen. Joseph Votel at Al Husseiniya Palace.

Discussions at the meeting, attended by His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, covered Jordanian-US cooperation, especially in the military field.

The meeting also addressed the latest developments in the region, as well as regional and international efforts to fight terrorism within a holistic strategy.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, and Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan also attended the meeting.
