King meets US presidential envoy

His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday discussed with US Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter Daesh Brett McGurk, regional and international efforts to fight terrorism and terrorist gangs, mainly Daesh.
During the meeting, King Abdullah and the US official also reviewed the current situation in the region, particularly developments in Syria and Iraq.
The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, the King’s advisor for military affairs and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, and the King’s advisor for national security affairs and the director of the Intelligence Department.
