King meets UK Royal College of Defence Studies delegation

His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday outlined Jordan’s stands and policies related to regional and international issues during a meeting with a delegation from the UK Royal College of Defence Studies.
During the meeting at Al Husseiniya Palace, King Abdullah called for intensifying international efforts to eliminate the terrorist threat worldwide.
His Majesty also underlined the challenges facing the Kingdom as a result of regional crises, pointing in particular to the repercussions of the Syrian crisis and hosting Syrian refugees.
For their part, the delegates, 18 members of the college representing 12 countries, commended Jordan’s role in enhancing global security and stability.
The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, Royal Hashemite Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, King’s Office Director Jafar Hassan and the UK Ambassador to Jordan Edward Oakden.
