His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday expressed his absolute condemnation of the ugly massacre perpetrated by Israel against innocent civilians—including injured and sick people—who were receiving treatment at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza.
King Abdullah said this was a heinous war crime that cannot be ignored, stressing that Israel must end its brutal aggression on Gaza immediately, which contravenes humanitarian and moral values and constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
His Majesty warned that this war, which has entered a dangerous phase, will plunge the region into an unspeakable disaster, urging the international community to put a stop to the bloodshed, whose continuation is a disgrace for all humanity.
Expressing condolences to the families of the martyrs and praying for their souls, the King reaffirmed that Jordan will remain at the forefront of the defenders of the rights of the Palestinians and their just cause.
