His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, departed on Monday for Washington, DC, to attend the state funeral of former President of the United States George H. W. Bush.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II was sworn in as Regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
