His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday congratulated Emmanuel Macron on assuming his term as president of France.

In a telephone call, King Abdullah said he looks forward to working with the new French president to bolster relations between the two countries in the service of their common interests and to enhance regional and global peace and stability.
