His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday voiced his pride and appreciation for efforts exerted by all state agencies to render Pope Francis’ visit to Jordan as successful as it was.

In a letter sent to Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, King Abdullah said the Jordanian ingenuity was demonstrated at its best during the Pope’s visit, leaving in the country’s collective memory “a bright episode of cooperation, brotherhood and co-existence within the context of the collective Jordanian identity”.
