King Arrives In Tokyo

His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday arrived in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, on the first leg of an East-Asian tour, during which he will also travel to China and Thailand. During his three-day visit, King Abdullah will meet Emperor Akihito, and, along with the accompanying delegation, also will hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi. Talks will focus on the enhancement of bilateral political and economic relations. The itinerary also includes meetings with representatives of various governmental agencies such as the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation (JICA), Japanese External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Japanese Bank for International Cooperation are also planned, as well as with representatives and leaders of the Japan-Jordan Parliamentary League, the Japan-Jordan Friendship Association and members of Keizai-Doyukai, the Japan Association for Corporate Executives.
