King meets Central African president

His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday held talks on bilateral ties and regional developments with Central African Republic President Francois Bozize, who arrived here Saturday on a three-day visit.



The two leaders also discussed prospects of Afro-Arab cooperation.



The King and Bozize said they were keen on establishing distinguished bilateral relations, especially in the economic, cultural and educational fields.



Their talks focused on establishing trade and investment ties.



King Abdullah, meanwhile, briefed Bozize on developments in the region and efforts under way to achieve a just, lasting and comprehensive peace.



The King also highlighted the need to build a genuine cooperation between Arab and African countries.
