King arrives in Washington

His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday arrived in the US on a several-day official visit, during which he will hold talks with President George W. Bush on regional developments and means to bolster bilateral ties.



His Majesty will also meet with senior US Administration officials, members of the US Congress committees and a number of business leaders.



The King was accompanied by several Royal family members, King's Adviser on Security Affairs, Director of the General Intelligence Department and President of the State Security Council General Saad Kheir, Royal Court Minister Samir Rifai, King's Adviser Akel Biltaji, Foreign Minister Hani Mulki, Finance Minister Mohammad Abu Hammour, and Minister of Industry and Trade Ahmad Hindawi.
