His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received American Tourism Society (ATS) Chairman Alex Harris and the accompanying delegation.



During the meeting, attended by Royal Court Minister Samir Rifai, the King highlighted the tourism sector's vital role in achieving sustainable development.



Harris expressed appreciation for His Majesty's efforts in attracting investments to Jordan and said that the ATS will work on promoting tourism in the Kingdom.
