King Arrives in Brussels

Within the frame of King Abdullah's efforts to revive the peace process in the Middle East, His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday arrived in Brussels on a one-day working visit to Belgium during which His Majesty will hold meetings with senior officials in Belgium, EU and the European Parliament to discuss Belgium and EU's efforts to achieve stability and security in the Middle East.



His Majesty's accompanying delegation comprises Minister of the Royal Court
Sameer Rifai, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Hani Mulqi and Minister Planning and
International Cooperation Dr. Bassem Awadallah.



Upon arrival, His Majesty the King was received by a number of Belgian high ranking
officials and Arab senior officials.



The King will meet with Monarch of Belgium King Albert II,President of the European
Commission Jose' Manuel Barroso, the Speaker of the Belgium Parliament, and
High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) Javier
Solana.
