King Abdullah and Queen Rania Heading for Europe

Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah left Amman on Sunday in a working tour in Europe that includes Britain, Luxembourg and Belgium where His Majesty will hold talks with leaders and other senior officials in
these countries on bilateral relations and other issues of common concern. The King and the Queen will start their European tour by a private visit to France.



In their several-day tour, London will be their first leg where His Majesty King Abdullah is expected to deliver a speech in the Foreign Journalism Association in presence of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah and key political and press figures across the world. The King is also expected to hand over the Association's prize to the best journalist.



An agreement between Jordan and EU to finance a number of development projects in Jordan is expected to be signed in the presence of His Majesty King Abdullah.



Delegation including Minister of Royal Court Sameer Al Rifai, Foreign Minster Hani Mulki, Minister of Planning and
International Cooperation Bassem Awadallah will accompany the King in his tour.



HRH Prince Faisal Sworn in as a Regent in the presence of the cabinet.
