King visits Ministry of Public Works and Housing

During his visit to Ministry of Public Work and Housing, His Majesty King Abdullah II looked into programs and plans the ministry implemented with the aim of upgrading and modernizing the public and agricultural roads, maintaining them and ensuring safety on roads.



The King listened to a briefing by Minister of Public Work and Housing Raed Abu Suud on projects carried by the ministry in the field of constructions and the exerted efforts to upgrade and qualify the ministry's cadres and to improve their administrative, professional and technical performance.



The Minister also reviewed his ministry's efforts to support the unemployment and poverty programs and implement training programs focusing on exploiting potentials of the youth group in productive projects.



Figures released by the General Statistics Department showed that the construction sector will employ about 105,000 people in this sector.
