King Receives Congolese Ministerial Delegation

His Majesty King Abdullah II expressed his hope that stability and security will prevail in the Republic of Congo.



During his meeting on Tuesday at Bait Al Barakah with the Congolese delegation comprising of Minister of Planning Alaxis Thambwe, Minister of Technology and Scientific Research Gerard Kamanda, and Minister of Transport Joseph Olegankoy Mukundji, His Majesty the King welcomed the establishment of strong relations between Jordan and Congo particularly in economic spheres.



Congolese Planning Minister, who leads the delegation, affirmed his country's keenness to bolster relations with Jordan and paid tribute to King Abdullah's wise policy and Jordan's ability to achieve economic and social development.



The Congolese delegation is currently on a visit to Jordan to discuss ways to boost economic cooperation between the two countries including private investment projects.



On Tuesday, the delegation signed an air transport agreement under which the national airlines in both countries can launch fight operations to carry goods and passengers between the two countries.
