His Majesty king Abdullah II received on Monday the Chinese Middle East Envoy Wang Shijie who affirmed to His Majesty China's interest in the Middle East issues as well as its keenness to find a just solution to the Palestinian issue and the Iraqi crisis.

The Chinese official noted his country's support to efforts that aim at ending the cycle of violence in the Palestinian lands and starting peace talks in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions.

The talks which were attended by Royal Court chief and the Chinese ambassador in Amman, also touched on relations between Jordan and China.

The Chinese ambassador expressed china's keenness to further develop relations between the two countries in the various fields.
