King and Queen Inaugurate Royal Hotel

Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania on Tuesday opened Royal Hotel at the Third Circle as one of tourist landmarks in the capital city of Amman.

The $190 million project is a built on 12 dunums and includes 281 rooms, two royal suites, 14 first class restaurants, three cinemas and a health club on 7,000 sqm, that is the first of its kind in Jordan.

The hotel, which goes beyond the five star hotels, also includes a large number of sports and entertainment facilities.

King Abdullah conferred the Independence Medal of the First Order on Board Chairman of the Hotel Nathmi Owji, in appreciation of his efforts to back investment in Jordan.

Tourism and Antiquities Minister Taleb Rifai described the project as a success stories that will help promote tourism investment in the Kingdom.
