King Visits Ma'an and Inaugurates Two Developmental Projects

His Majesty King Abdullah II opened today two developmental projects in the Ma'an Governorate and headed a meeting for the development Council as part of his relentless efforts to follow up developmental projects in various parts of the Kingdom.
His Majesty affirmed that the Socio-Economic Transformation programme will continue and will receive more funds in the coming years. During his visit, King Abdullah laid the foundation stone of the permanent site of Al Hussein Ben Talal University which was established in 1999.
His Majesty also visited in Ma'an Prince Ra'ad Ben Zeid center for Rehabilitation and Cerebral Palsy which meets the needs of inhabitants of the area.
At the Ma'an Governorate, the King, who was also accompanied by the prime minister and planning minister, was briefed by its governor on developmental projects in the city.
His Majesty affirmed his full support to the governorates' development program as well as the need to provide it with funds to ensure its success.
