King urges American administration

His Majesty King Abdullah II Saturday urged the American administration to instantly move to end the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and the siege imposed on Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.

During a phone call with American President George Bush, His Majesty affirmed the necessity of instant American administration steps to stop the Israeli aggression and to oblige Israel withdraw their forces from Ramallah and other occupied Palestinian cities. His Majesty stressed that the continuation of military escalation policy, adopted by the Israeli government, will have dire consequences that will bring matters out of control and destabilize the stability and security of the region at large.

Within the framework of His Majesty`s intensive and consistent follow up of the Israeli aggression`s developments , The King discussed with Egyptian President Muhammad Husni Mubarak potential means to stop the Israeli aggression which is taking a serious tendency.

During a phone call, the two leaders stressed the necessity to move on the various levels and with the active international circles to commit Israel withdraw their forces and stop the policy of killing and destruction against the unarmed Palestinian citizens. The two leaders , King Abdullah II and President Mubarak affirmed that harming the life of President Arafat is a catastrophe Israel should realize its dire consequences.

The developments of situation in the Palestinian territories were the focus of His Majesty`s phone call with King Hamad Bin Issa Al Khalifa of Bahrain. The two leaders stressed the importance of pooling Arab and international efforts to put an end to the Israeli aggression.
