His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received cables of congratulations from several world leaders on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Independence Day. Cables were received from Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Syrian President Bashar Assad, Bahraini King Hamad Ben Issa Al Khalifa, Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, Spanish King Juan Carlos, Japan's Emperor Akihito, Turkish President Abdullah Gul, French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Czech President Vaclav Klaus.
