His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), on Monday received a letter from Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Khalid Sarayreh. In his reply to the King's letter, Sarayreh expressed the JAF staff's pride and appreciation for the continued Royal support. Sarayreh said the JAF would remain a model of excellence and proficiency. In his letter to Sarayreh on Sunday, the King expressed his keenness on developing and modernizing the army through training and supplying the JAF with up-to-date equipment and arms.
