A Royal Decree was issued on Thursday summoning the two Houses of Parliament to convene for an extraordinary session on Sunday, August 26.
Under the Decree, Parliament is to deliberate the 2009 temporary income tax law, the 2012 draft law amending the Press and Publications Law, the draft immovable assets law and the 2012 Landlords and Tenants Law.
Lawmakers are also scheduled to deliberate amendments to the Passports Law, the appropriation law and the Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Law.
The two Houses of Parliament will also discuss the 2012 draft Islamic sukuk law.
