A Royal Decree was issued on Wednesday summoning the parliament to convene in an extraordinary session as of Tuesday, July 15, 2003.

Following is the text of the Royal Decree:

We, Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 34 and paragraph 1 of article 73 of the constitution, do hereby summon the parliament to meet in an extraordinary session as of Tuesday, July 15, 2003.
