A Royal Decree was issued on Monday endorsing a new cabinet headed by Prime Minister Awn Khasawneh.

• Nasser Judeh: Minister of Foreign Affairs
• Rowaida Maaitah: Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research
• Bassem Roussan: Minister of Information and Communications Technology
• Alaa Batayneh: Minister of Transport
• Ayman Odeh: Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs and Legislation
• Jafar Hassan: Minister of Planning and International Cooperation
• Nesreen Barakat: Minister of Social Development

In his reply to the Letter of Designation, Khasawneh pledged to draft political reform laws after extensive consultations, stressing that the laws serve democracy, justice and transparency.
Also on Monday, King Abdullah met with Bakhit and his outgoing Cabinet and thanked them for their efforts to serve their country during an exceptional phase.
