Bushra Abu Shahout was sworn in before the Regent, His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad—His Majesty’s chief adviser for religious and cultural affairs and personal envoy—at Basman Palace on Thursday, as a member of the Independent Election Commission’s (IEC) board of commissioners.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi and IEC Chief Commissioner Musa Maaytah attended the swearing-in.
