His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday stressed that reform requires sacrifices at the beginning, "but it constitutes a guarantee for the future of our sons and daughters.

"Reform is worthy of sacrifices; it is a continuing program… as much as it is a responsibility we shoulder for the benefit of our future generations, and for their promising tomorrow," His Majesty said in a letter to Prime Minister Adnan Badran.
