His Majesty King Abdullah II Monday received a letter from US President George Bush congratulating him on the special occasion of Eid Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).

" As I indicated in our recent meeting in Washington, I value deeply your continued support for our efforts to end the violence and to work towards a lasting and comprehensive peace in the Middle East. May this holiday mark the strong commitment of our countries to ensure peace and security for nations of the region, " read Bush`s letter.
