His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, on Thursday visited the Public Security Directorate (PSD), where he discussed with PSD Director Lt. Gen. Hussein al-Majali a number of issues of concern to the department as well as services it offers to citizens.

King Abdullah voiced appreciation for the PSD’s role in preserving security and protecting citizens.

Lt. General al-Majali said the PSD will continue under the directives of His Majesty to offer the best services to citizens to protect their lives and property, adding that the department was committed to the rule of law and utmost respect of human rights.
