King visits Nagasaki National Peace Memorial Hall

His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday visited the Nagasaki National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims and laid flowers at the memorial.

King Abdullah visited Japan upon an official invitation from the Japanese government.

. On Friday, the King will hold talks with Japan's Emperor Akihito and separately with Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama and several senior officials.

Talks will focus on means to boost bilateral ties, particularly in economic fields, in addition to the latest developments in the Middle East and efforts to achieve peace in the region.
