King visits the King Hussein Club

His Majesty King Abdullah II visited on Thursday the Building of King Hussein Club where he was briefed by Senate President/ President of the club Zeid Rifai and Minister of Public Works Husni Abu Ghaideh on the renovation works at the Club.
The club which is named after late King Hussein is considered one of the oldest clubs in the region and which played a major role in supporting the cultural march and promoting social ties.
His Majesty King Abdullah II had earlier called for renovating the club which was established in 1958 with a view to activate the cultural and social activities in the Kingdom.
Abu Ghaideh noted that a committee consisting of ministries of culture, tourism and public works was formed to supervise the process of renovation.
