King visits emergency room, calls for securing needs of people

His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday visited the emergency room at the Interior Ministry and stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to deal with the current weather conditions affecting the Kingdom.

King Abdullah was briefed by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour and Interior Minister Hussein Majali on efforts to deal with the snowstorm and means to offer services to people.

His Majesty stressed the need to open roads as soon as possible and to ensure that people receive services and basic commodities, particularly those who live in remote areas.

The King called on officials to stay in contact with people through field visits to secure their needs.

His Majesty expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by all concerned agencies.
