His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces visited on Wednesday the eastern military region where he was received by the region's commander and a number of its senior officers.

His Majesty, who was accompanied by Chief of the Royal Court and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was briefed by commander of the region, on duties and tasks carried out by the various formations and units of the region, as well as training and administrative issues.

The King also inspected a number of military formations and units in the region, met with their members and was assured on their conditions.
