His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited on Wednesday the Civil Defense Department, (CDD) where he was briefed by Director of the CDD, Major General Mahmoud Abbadi, on duties carried out by the CDD, as well as services provided to citizens in all part of the Kingdom.



The King was also briefed on plans and programs that aim at developing the CDD, including the civil defense academy project, and the investment project for the civil defense officers' housing fund.



His Majesty also visited the Rescue and Support Directorate which currently has an international research and rescue team.
