King visits Central Badia

His Majesty King Abdullah met with representatives from the Bani Sakher tribe in Umm Al Amad.

The King met with the representatives on Monday to discuss issues of concern to residents of the Central Badia region.

In remarks during the meeting, Senator Faisal Al Fayez stressed the commitment of the Bani Sakhr tribe to support Jordan's development and safeguard the homeland's accomplishments.

He also highlighted Jordan's role in supporting the Palestinians in their quest to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The meeting was attended by the prime minister, Senate president, Lower House speaker, president of the Judicial Council, Royal Court chief, the army chief, the King's advisor for tribal affairs, the directors of the Public Security Department and Civil Defence and other officials.
