King visits Canada's defence ministry

His Majesty King Abdullah, on Wednesday, visited the Canadian Defence Ministry in the capital, Ottawa, where King Abdullah was welcomed by Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Minister of Defence Jason Kenney, and Chief of the Defence Staff of the Canadian Armed Forces, General Thomas J. Lawson.

General Lawson delivered a briefing about tasks undertaken by the Canadian armed forces, especially in promoting international peace and security, and fighting terrorist organisations.

The Canadian Prime Minister highlighted the contributions of the Canadian armed forces in maintaining security and stability within international efforts to fight terrorism.
