His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, paid a visit to the Public Security Department (PSD) on Wednesday.

During a meeting with PSD Director Lieutenant General Mohammad Aitan, King Abdullah underlined the importance of upgrading the level of services offered by the department implementing PSD strategies according to a specific timetable.

The King, who said it was important to preserve the civilized image of the police, also highlighted the need to provide all the necessary facilities to Arab and foreign visitors who come to Jordan this summer.

His Majesty also visited Army Headquarters, where he met with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff General Khaled Sarayreh, who briefed him on several issues of concern to the Army.
