His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, visited the King Abdullah II Third Armoured Division on Monday, where he was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben and the division's commander.

During the visit, King Abdullah inaugurated the new building of the Fifth Royal Tank Battalion and listened to a briefing on the duties of the division and its training programmes.

His Majesty also visited several field training locations and observed a number of military drills.
