His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday visited the Abbad tribe in the Eira region near Salt.
Dignitaries, representatives and deputies of the tribe lined the entrance to the area to welcome the King as citizens held banners and national flags in an expression of joy over the visit.
During the visit, Sheikh Mifleh Elayan Alawin, Sheikh Mohammad Saad Khalaf Manasir and Sheikh Jamal Abu Bakr delivered speeches highlighting the Hashemite family's achievements over the years, which helped develop the country despite its limited resources.
Their Royal Highnesses Prince Ali and Prince Ghazi Ben Mohammad, the King's special adviser and personal envoy, Prime Minister Marouf Bakhit, Royal Court Chief Salem Turk and the King's Adviser on Tribal Affairs Sharif Fawaz Zaben Abdullah accompanied the King on the visit.
