His Majesty Abdullah is expected to visit the Palestinian territories and Israel in the coming few days for talks with President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.

The visit will be part of King Abdullah's efforts on means to push the peace process forward and to rally support for the Palestinian Authority.

His Majesty's talks with Abbas and Sharon will focus on the need to establish trust between the two sides and to put an end to the violence, and will also stress the need to support the Palestinian economy and institution building.

US President George W. Bush on Thursday told King Abdullah during a meeting in Washington that it will be "very helpful" to have the King's "voice of reason" to talk to Abbas and Sharon and back the peace process.
