His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday called for an integrated work plan to enhance the endurance of Jerusalemites and preserve the Holy City's nature, particularly Islamic and Christian shrines.
The King told heads of Jordanian societies and forums on Jerusalem at a meeting that the Kingdom stands firm against Israeli digging near the Aqsa Mosque that dangerously threatens Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem.
Reiterating Jordan's support for Jerusalemites, King Abdullah said these societies and forums play a leading role to protect Jerusalem's identity against Israeli schemes.
The King also spoke about Jordan's regional and international efforts to help revive the Middle East peace process and establish an independent Palestinian state.
