His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday discussed means to bolster bilateral relations, particularly in the economic and parliamentary fields, with Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey Kِksal Toptan.
During the meeting, King Abdullah expressed his satisfaction over the level of economic cooperation between Jordan and Turkey and the growing volume of Turkish investments in the Kingdom.
The two sides also discussed current regional developments, particularly efforts to push the peace process forward and opportunities to enhance Turkey's role in reinforcing security and stability in the region.
Toptan expressed his country's appreciation of Jordan's efforts to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East, highlighting his country's interest in boosting Turkish-Jordanian cooperation in various sectors, including the legislative and parliamentary fields.
