His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday met with the Turkish president’s chief adviser, Ershat Hurmuzlu, and discussed bilateral ties and regional developments.
During the meeting, King Abdullah expressed satisfaction with the advanced level of Jordanian-Turkish relations, calling for further enhancement of bilateral ties.
Talks covered means to solve the Syrian crisis and efforts exerted to achieve a comprehensive and just solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Hurmuzlu conveyed to the King the greetings of Turkish President Abdullah Gul and voiced Turkey’s keenness to maintain coordination with Amman on all levels and bolster its relations with Jordan in various fields.
He also expressed appreciation for His Majesty’s efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region and Jordan’s humanitarian assistance to Syrian refugees.
The meeting was attended by Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, His Majesty’s Office Director Imad Fakhoury, His Majesty’s Adviser Abdullah Woreikat and Turkey’s Ambassador to Jordan Sedat Onal.
