His Majesty King Abdullah on Friday met with a number of international and US economic figures and representatives of large companies at the Sun Valley Economic Forum in Idaho.

During the meetings, King Abdullah discussed opportunities in the Jordanian market for investors and businesspeople as well as the mega-projects Jordan has on the drawing board in several vital fields such as water, energy and transport.

King Abdullah indicated that the Kingdom’s vital location and network of relationships make it an advantageous centre for international and regional trade. He stressed the fact that the country is host to headquarters of several international blue-chip companies, which underlines Jordan’s regional significance as a business hub.

The Sun Valley Economic Forum has been held annually in July since 1983 with the participation of leading figures and businesspeople from around the world, who convene to discuss global economic and political challenges.
