His Majesty King Abdullah on Friday held talks with Sultan Qaboos of Oman on means to foster bilateral ties in different fields.
During the meeting, the two leaders stressed their keenness to develop bilateral relations and underlined the need for increasing cooperation in various sectors.
They also reviewed issues of mutual concern, especially developments at the regional and international levels and efforts to attain comprehensive peace and stability in the Middle East.
In addition, the two leaders looked into issues that foster Arab solidarity, stressing the need to activate institutionalised Arab action and develop a unified Arab position to face common challenges and serve the interests of the ummah.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein, His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi, the King's special adviser and personal envoy, and several Omani officials also attended the meeting.
