His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday strongly denounced the Daesh terrorist group’s killing of “brotherly Egyptian Copts in Libya”, vowing Jordan's “full support for Egypt’s efforts to eradicate terror”.

During a telephone call with Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi on Monday, King Abdullah offered his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, conveying the Kingdom’s strong condemnation of the “deviant group’s inhumane crime which has nothing to do with Islam”.

For his part, President Sisi expressed thanks for the King’s support for his country at all times and his terror-combating efforts, including his defence of the true essence of Islam, the statement said.
