His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received a phone call from Sudanese President Omar Bashir.

The two leaders reviewed bilateral ties while Bashir briefed the King on the latest development in the Darfur issue and the Abuja peace agreement.

The King voiced hope the accord would be a major step towards permanent peace in Darfur and a better future for the Sudanese people.
