His Majesty King Abdullah II stressed on the role of the Qualified Industrial Zones (QIZs) in supporting the national economy, its role in providing job opportunities and increasing exports to the American and European markets.

The King also reiterated, during a meeting on Thursday with a delegation representing investors in the QIZs, on the necessity of continuing the hard work with a view to find solutions for the challenges facing investment in these zones.

Director of Economic and Development Department in the Royal Court Mohammad Rawashdeh outlined, during the meeting which was attended by ministers of finance, labor, industry and trade, transportation, Mayor of Amman and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, procedures taken, under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, aiming at facilitating and developing the performance of the QIZs.
